This week was a very long week. Daddy left on Monday for Surabaya and we had a long Easter weekend. Chasing two little boys around is not easy, we miss daddy! Both the kids caught colds and the heat and humidity didn’t help at all.
However, this is all menial considering the great Sacrifice Jesus made for us. He died in the cross to give us eternal life and I will be forever grateful for his unending love. Today is Easter and once again we remember the greatest feat ever done. Lord, we are so undeserving and we thank You for all you’ve done and for the constant reminders of your presence in our lives today.
Here are some of the highlights of our week. We are looking forward to a busy week ahead and we are thankful for having the opportunity to catch up with daddy in Surabaya in a few days. I will make sure we keep you posted with all the adventures and misadventures of traveling by myself with two boys.
- Mom enjoyed good paella and great friends at Tapas Movida.
- While visiting a friend for a playgroup I found funny that the elevator in her apartment doesn’t have a # 4, 13 or 14… Definite reminder that we are in Asia.
- A chunky monkey tips the scales at 8kg on his 4 month appointment. 90th percentile for weight and height.
- Pajama scavenger hunt. More of a tour of the building but enjoyable nonetheless.
- Escaping from mom. As per usual…
- This is the only way to get him to go home. Catch him while you can!
- A little monster is hiding in my bed!
- Joshua enjoys riding in his stroller as long as mom is constantly talking to him.
- Evan has learned to ride his scooter. He specially loves inclines…
- Two boys ride in one very small car.
- Evan getting ready to hunt some eggs at the American Club (more on that later)
