Of course this week was no exception and it was as crazy and fun as the previous ones. We are still quite busy working on Joshua’s birthday party and we are just enjoying the coming Christmas season.
Monday and Tuesday I “lunched” with girlfriends and got to enjoy an awesome chocolate dessert at the Magnum Cafe. On Thursday I met with friends for our second to last Bible Study of the season. We also visited the National Museum and the National Monument.
Friday was a specially fun day as I visited the Harry Darsono museum. I don’t want to give out too much because I will be writing about it next week, but here’s a small preview. A highlight of the visit was getting to wear one of late Princess Diana’s tiaras! How awesome is that!!!
On Saturday I had a class with Melissa at Benefit Pilates. It was awesome! I had done pilates before but working with the reformer machines makes a huge difference. I know it’s cliche but I do feel like I worked muscles I haven’t toned in a while. I would certainly recommend it to anyone in Jakarta. Melissa was so good at finding my weaknesses and the areas that needed special care and I loved feeling the workout was exactly what I needed.
Saturday afternoon was Sehr Gut! My girlfriends and I visited the German Christmas Bazaar. I didn’t care much about the shopping but I had a great time drinking gluhwein and eating Zimtsterne.
Sunday was a relaxing Family Day and we are now getting ready to start a new week!

It’s super nice! I totally recommend it!!! I wish you a fantastic week Sharon! Take care!
Oh my, this is embarrassing, but I have a confession to make :P.
I live about 5 mins from his museum, but I’ve never been there. I thought that’s where he lives! Looking forward to reading your article next week! 😀
Oh Fenny, you have to visit it!!! It’s amazing! I really really enjoyed it! I kind of want to go again hahaha…. He doesn’t live there anymore so now his collection is there on display. They also have a workshop there. Very cool!
You want to go there again? Wow, it must be really good :D! Let’s go there together, if you still want to go.
