{LombokForKids} Visiting a Pearl Farm

January 12, 2014 in Indonesia, Travel 6 Comments

Our visit to Lombok last November was very different than most of our trips. So after two days of doing just that, I started to get itchy … Continue reading →

{Mexico} Teotihuacan with Kids

January 7, 2014 in Kids, Mexico, Travel 5 Comments

After a few days in Mexico City and Riviera Maya it was time for us to head back to Monterrey. To be completely honest I knew that my hubby wanted to visit the pyramids by Mexico City but I had avoided the subject and hoped he would kind of forget about it. After all, we … Continue reading →

{Mexico} Tulum with Kids

{Mexico} Tulum with Kids

January 5, 2014 in Kids, Mexico, Travel 4 Comments

Our visit to the Riviera Maya wouldn’t have been complete without a visit to the Mayan ruins in the region. With so many options, so little time and so many kilograms worth of children to carry up the pyramids we chose to visit just one site: Tulum. Tulum is located about an hour from the … Continue reading →

December 11, 2013 in Kids, Travel 2 Comments

Madrid is a wonderful place for kids and their parents. There is so much culture and history embedded in every corner of this royal city but that doesn’t mean that the kids can’t enjoy it as well. Like many European cities, Madrid is full of wonderful spots for kids to run around and great playgrounds … Continue reading →
