Well, not really a cookie-a-thon, but for a two-year old making about a dozen cookies is quite an accomplishment and a milestone when it comes to attention span. I must confess this endeavor wouldn’t have been possible without the support and help of my husband who succeeded in making Evan think cutting out shapes out of dough was fun. I think the only motivation behind Evan’s participation was the fact that he was cutting out cars, trucks, planes and trains.

I only made blue icing, it seemed appropriate and easy enough. Evan loved putting sprinkles on the cookies and used up about half a bottle of each different pattern.

Meanwhile, Josh sat down in the high-chair, observed his family making a mess and enjoyed a relaxing Saturday afternoon at home.
