It has barely been a week since the boys started school again and I am already thinking about taking a vacation. Last year, in August, we were blessed to have the opportunity to visit Disney World in Orlando with my mom. Ever since we were in Indonesia I dreamed of the day we would be able … Continue reading →

When we started planning our trip to Hong Kong last year I knew there would be no way we would be able to get to see everything this amazing cosmopolitan city has to offer. After all, we would only be there for 4 days and the lists of top 10 things to see seemed to … Continue reading →

The one thing One of the things on top of my list of things to do before we left Indonesia , besides hitting all the bazaars and trying to buy everything within reach, was to visit Hong Kong and to take the boys to Hong Kong Disneyland. My mom’s visit for Evan’s 4th birthday party … Continue reading →

I can’t believe our little man is two years old already! Time certainly flies! We are so grateful to God for Joshua David. {Indonesia} Visiting Bandung with Kids

November 2, 2013 in Family, Indonesia, Kids, Travel 15 Comments

Going to Bandung on a weekend, I had heard, was not a good idea unless we were planning to eat, drink and be merry inside our car. Apparently Bandung is a very popular locale to visit as evidenced by the heavy traffic in the tollway every weekend. There are hundreds of very famous outlet stores … Continue reading →

During our last trip to Bali we decided to get off the beaten path and try our luck visiting the wonders of East Bali. Boy were we in for a treat. {BarcelonaForKids} Magic Fountain of Montjuïc

May 15, 2013 in Family, Kids, Travel 4 Comments

During our trip to Barcelona last summer we knew we wanted to do as the Spanish (and Mexicans like me) do. That meant having dinner late at night, taking the kiddos out past their bedtime and letting them roam around freely enjoying all the city life had to offer. I remember my first time in … Continue reading →

Anything Goes, and the reason behind my disappearing act…

May 1, 2013 in Blogging, Expat Life, Family 13 Comments

Since we first moved to South East Asia over 4 years ago I started to realize that I would always be “farang” or “bule” or “foreigner”, call it what you may, to all the locals. This categorization due to my looks immediately led to some great things, some not so great (getting the special foreigner … Continue reading →

Evan’s Blastoff to Space Third Birthday Party

February 9, 2013 in Family, Kids, Party 13 Comments

Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. James 1:17 Our children are out biggest gift from God.
