We love the nature of our nomadic lifestyle. We love living overseas and moving around every few years. Raising kids in such a transient and dynamic environment can be challenging sometimes. That’s why we make sure we provide consistency and stability for the kids at home. One of our priorities as soon was we move … Continue reading

A big belly, an 18 month old and a visit to Yogya
We had the opportunity to visit Yogyakarta (Yogya) for a week last summer. We were there taking an intensive one week-long language class and I must say I enjoyed touring the city as much as I enjoyed learning bits and pieces of Bahasa Indonesia and Indonesian Culture. I was about 5 months pregnant at the … Continue reading
Fun in the Sun (and in the Rain)
Evan is a very active little guy. He loves to run around and cannot sit still for more than 2 minutes unless it’s watching the Cars 2 movie (which I’m very grateful to have discovered over Christmas). Today daddy had a day off work so after taking Joshua to his early development class, we ventured … Continue reading
Cookie-a-thon
Well, not really a cookie-a-thon, but for a two-year old making about a dozen cookies is quite an accomplishment and a milestone when it comes to attention span. If Life Gives you Carrots…. Make Carrot Cake
I recently started receiving fresh vegetables from an organic farm on a weekly basis. Little did I know that if I ordered the medium size mixed vegetable package I would end up with a fridge full of greens and about one hundred carrots. I’m not a big fan of carrot anything, unless they are raw … Continue reading
Hello world!
So here it is. My attempt to do everything and nothing both at the same time. I’ve been thinking I need to somehow document our adventures and whereabouts as I know by the time my boys are old enough to care, I will probably have forgotten. We are constantly on the move, but one thing … Continue reading
